Privacy Policy

This policy covers the current My Heart, My Feelings demo operated by LBS Market (Pty) Ltd. It explains the app as it works today, not features planned for later.

Information you choose to enter

Diary text, titles, dates, photos, font choices, recipient names, relationships, special dates, notes, and gift-preview settings are processed in your browser. Drafts and recipient details are saved in this website’s local storage on your device. There is no account or cloud diary database connected. Providing personal content is optional; a person’s name is required only when you choose to add a person. Use fictional details when trying the demo.

Why this information is used

The app uses your entries to display and edit diaries, remember your choices and produce gift-card previews. It does not currently upload diary contents or recipient details to a cloud database. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to view locally saved drafts; this is not an encrypted private vault.

Website hosting and support

Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and URLs to serve and protect it. Hosting may involve processing outside South Africa. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its processing practices. If you contact us, we receive the information you include and use it to respond and manage your request. Do not email diary contents unless they are necessary for your request.

Sharing

When you choose Share card or Download card, a preview image is created on your device. Sharing sends that image through the service you select, subject to that service’s privacy practices. Preview codes are not working access credentials. Real diary sharing and passing on are not active.

Retention and deletion

Local drafts remain until browser data is cleared or removed, or the browser/device loses that storage. We cannot remotely recover or delete your device’s stored drafts. To remove all local data, clear site data for this website in your browser settings; this is irreversible without your own copy. The old and new website addresses have separate storage. Downloaded or shared copies must be managed separately. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal requirements.

Your privacy choices and rights

You can edit your local entries. Contact us to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or to object to processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity. You may also raise a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator; its website provides current complaint channels.

Before cloud accounts launch

We will update this policy to identify the account and storage providers, access controls, retention arrangements and relevant international transfers before enabling those features. The demo does not collect an account password. We do not promise end-to-end encryption or permanent preservation.
